Sometimes, you need an expert eye, but don't need full-service interior design.  Marie is available to come to your home, discuss your needs and challenges, and offer professional advice.   Every design consultation is a little different, so we will discuss everything over the phone to be sure our expectations are aligned.

This service can also be used for someone who has just moved into a new home.  Marie can help you make the most of your existing items and provide direction on what new furnishings are needed.  She can also make recommendations for artwork placement, arranging gallery walls, and how to best use your decor.

$150 per hour

For 8 years, Marie worked as a color consultant for Sherwin Williams and performed over 2,000 color consultations.  Many of those were repeat clients and word of mouth referrals.  Some even turned into full-service freelance design projects, which is how Scarlett & Vieve was born.  All of this work has lead to a deep, experience-based knowledge of color and how it reacts in different spaces. 

 During a color consultation, Marie comes to your home prepared with 4"x4" paint swatches.  Together, you will discuss your goals and how you would like the space to feel.  You will look at some options together, while Marie explains color theory in simple terms, as it relates to paint.  At the end of the appointment, you will have a swatch for each color you've selected, a write-up listing the color(s) being used in each space, and the confidence and excitement to move forward with your project.

$150 per hour
